Microsoft Office for Android Users , yet another cool feature.

It is pretty clear that Mobile phone users are giving the IT people new challenges. With the growing popularity all segments of the market and increase in use-age, Smartphone are really driving the machine of technological advancements. A common question such as "Is it available for my Mobile phone ?" has lead to a wide variety of applications specifically developed for that particular segment.

Recently in the news Microsoft has announced they are ready to launched their already popular and widely used Microsoft Office for the Android users. This comes as a good news , not only students but professionals will benefit from this. It seems this step is taken for getting more  mobile customers as possible using its software. Earlier Microsoft have released Outlook application for the Apple iPhone and iPad devices hoping to get into the market share that Apple enjoys.
                                                   

                                             

By giving away its industry-standard Office apps on Apple's popular iOS and Google's Android operating systems, Microsoft is looking to build up a base of users which it can later persuade to sign up for Office 365, the full, Internet-based version of Office starting at $7 a month for personal users.
Word, Excel and PowerPoint, the key elements of Microsoft's top-selling Office suite of applications, have been a hit on Apple's mobile devices, with 80 million downloads since last March, according to Microsoft.

Web hosting companies provide support for ASP, or Active Server Page. This is ASP web hosting. These Pages are HTML pages with embedded ASP scripts. ASP scripts are processed on the server before the page is sent to the visitor's browser. ASP allows you to create dynamic database driven pages. Visitors can access information stored in a database and interact with page objects such as Active X or Java components.

When you type in a URL in the Address Box of your browser, you are asking the web server to send the file to your computer. If the file is standard HTML, then the file that your web browser receives will look exactly the same as it did on the web server. However, if an ASP file is sent to your computer from the server, it first runs the HTML code, then the ASP code. The ASP code could be anything such as the current time, date, or other such information.
                                        

You will need to find a web host who will host your website on a Windows server. It is safer to host your ASP pages on a Windows server as they are more stable and most ASP components work specific to Windows. You also need to consider if your website uses a database, such as SQL and Access. Make sure your web host provides support for the type of database your website requires.

ASP.NET vNext will take things to the next level. Today, you run ASP.NET using the same CLR that desktop apps use. Adding a cloud-optimized (my cloud, your cloud,their cloud - server stuff) version optimized for server scenarios like low-memory and high-throughput.

 It has been great to see the energy and innovation in these technologies since it made the open source announcements.

Software is what enables organizations to succeed in today’s digital environment.  It is what enables businesses to connect better with customers, to deliver amazing
 new experiences, to drive new revenue streams, and to run operations more efficiently.

It is going to enable even more developers to take advantage of Visual Studio and build even better applications.  We are looking forward to seeing what all we can

Windows 10 May Come With A New Web Browser

Microsoft is working on a new web browser for #Windows10, code-named Spartan, to replace the ageing Internet Explorer. First reported by ZDNet, Microsoft will reportedly ship both web browsers in Windows 10, to test the waters with Spartan. Internet Explorer’s team will be downscale internally, to the point where all workers will move to Spartan development.

Spartan will be a lightweight web browser, capable of working on multiple platforms. #Microsoft is looking into an #iOS and Android version of the web browser, alongside making it available for all Windows platforms at launch.

Not much is known about the design of #Spartan; it will most likely follow the same Metro UI, which Microsoft has been pushing for the best part of three years. It will also feature the same rendering engine as Internet Explorer. Microsoft is preparing a consumer event on January 21 for Windows 10, to introduce some of the new features on the operating system. In a leaked Build 9901, it showed Cortana, the virtual assistant, will be present on the OS update.

Internet Explorer has lost a lot of its dazzle in the past few years, overshadowed by Chrome and #Firefox. Microsoft went from 80 percent web browser share to 50 percent, and only has 2 percent on mobile. Spartan might not be the solution to Microsoft’s web browser problems, but offering a compatible web browser on multiple platforms is better than what Redmond is offering right now.

Say Goodbye to Microsoft's Internet Explorer

Microsoft Corporation is about to abandon #InternetExplorer. After nearly 20 years of helping Netizens navigate the Web,your favorite browser (IE) is about to be replace.

 The question of rebranding or renaming Internet Explorer arose back in August, when a group of engineers from Microsoft's IE team decided to tackle a #Reddit AMA ("Ask Me Anything") forum.

Microsoft Corporation is readying its own replacement for its flagship browser starting with #Windows10. Codenamed "Spartan," ZDNet's sources say the new browser definitely isn't just the next build of IE. Rather, Spartan is being built as a revamped, lightweight, extension-enabled browser that happens to sport a more similar look and feel to both Chrome and #MozillaFirefox.
